By the time you have completed the activities covered in this chapter, you will be ready for the Prograph “Grand Tour,” presented in chapters 2 and 3.
t Minimum System Requirements*922*
You need at least a Macintosh Plus with 128K ROM, System version 6.0.7 (minimum), and a hard disk to run Prograph.
In addition Prograph runs in a 1750 kilobyte (minimum) partition. Prograph makes maximum use of as much RAM as you have available or can allocate to it.*916**933*
t Increasing Prograph's Memory Allocation
*741*Prograph's default application memory allocation is 1750K. You can improve Prograph’s performance and increase the size of applications you write by increasing this allocation. To do so, click on the Prograph application icon on the desktop and then select Get Info from the File menu.

Use the Tab key to highlight the default entry in either the Minimum Size or Preferred Size fields and type a number greater than 1750 to increase the amount of RAM you want to allocate to Prograph.
Now that you have Prograph properly installed on your machine, you are ready to start learning how to use Prograph. Please proceed to the next chapter at your convenience.
